14 years building software — mostly backends, data pipelines, and infrastructure. I also build tools for engineers: monitoring, dev environments, the things I wished I had at my last job.
I started this site in 2024 because I kept answering the same questions in Slack. Writing once seemed smarter.

- 2013 — 2017 Founding engineer at two startups, one of which is still going.
- 2011 — 2013 Software engineer at a large bank. Useful, not fun.
